The Alpine Theatre Project is Montana's only professional Equity summer theatre. Artistic Directors Betsi Morrison (Broadway's Sound of Music), David Ackroyd (Broadway's Children of a Lesser God), and Luke Walrath (Broadway's 42nd Street) bring theatre professionals and productions fresh off the boards of New York and other major cities to the indescribable beauty of Whitefish, Montana.
The Bigfork Summer Playhouse will celebrates live professional theatre. Known by many as the "theatre by the bay", the playhouse brings talent from across the country to bring the finest live professional theatre in the Northwest and is a past recipient of the Montana Governor's Award for the Arts.
Port Polson Players maintain a quality reputation of producing classic comedies and musicals. Some of Montana's best talent gives you a chance to try many shows new to the region. The setting at the John Dowdall Theatre on the beautiful Polson golf course is spectacular, with an old-world intimate atmosphere.
The Mission of the Whitefish Theatre Co is to foster professional excellence in community based theatre while providing artistic and educational opportunities in the performing and visual arts. A volunteer board of directors works together with staff to meet the artistic goals of the organization while maintaining the I.A. O'Shaughnessy Center and its upkeep.

The Society was founded in 1982 by a group of individuals committed to preserving the history of Whitefish and the Flathead Valley for the present and future. Since its inception the Society has grown to over 200 members from all parts of the United States and Canada.
